Job Overview
The London North West Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Nurse to join our Critical Care team. This role involves providing high-quality clinical care to critically ill adults across our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct clinical support to patients in Critical Care settings.
- Develop specialized competencies in managing critically ill patients, including thorough assessment, care delivery, and outcome evaluation.
- Assume direct responsibility for patient care or oversee the activities of junior nursing staff.
- Serve as a proficient practitioner in critical care and/or intermittent haemodialysis, acting as a professional role model and educator.
- Facilitate effective mentorship and preceptorship, contributing to the education and training of both nursing and non-nursing personnel.
- Take charge of the Intensive Care Unit as necessary, collaborating closely with senior nursing staff to maintain ongoing accountability.

Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a Post-Basic Critical Care Course.
- Qualification in Teaching and Assessing (Mentorship course).
- ILS Certification.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in Transfer Training.

- Previous Critical Care experience at Band 5 level.
