We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Nurse Intensive Care to join our team at Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Intensive Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing clinical direction and mentorship to junior staff, managing complex patient care as a bedside nurse, and leading the critical care unit in the absence of senior nurses.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to junior staff members.
- Manage and coordinate the care of critically ill patients, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction.
- Develop and implement effective care plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Lead the critical care unit, ensuring smooth operations and making decisions in the absence of senior nurses.
- Cover a wide range of specialties, including Colorectal, Gynaecology, Thoracic, Vascular, Orthopaedics, Neuro & Spinal, and Acute Medicine.
- Registered General Nurse with NMC pin.
- Extensive experience in Critical Care, with a strong background in ICU nursing.
- General ITU-specific skills and experience, including critical care courses.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
