Fleming Farms Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Intensive Care Nurse to join our team. As a critical care registered nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients requiring level 2 and 3 care
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Prioritize nursing care and recognize deterioration in patient condition, escalating to senior nursing team/clinicians as needed
- Coordinate patient care with members of the healthcare team, including discharge planning
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure well-coordinated patient care
- Current nursing registration (First Level) through the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) required, with no restrictions to practice
- Demonstrable clinical experience in high acuity critically-ill adults, including invasive lines, mechanical ventilation, and vasoactive intravenous medications
- Experience working in critical care specialties, including cardiac and cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, renal, and GI surgery
- Completed 60 credits Adult Critical Care/Intensive Care Course or equivalent, and Step 1 Critical Care Competencies Course
- 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
