About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Homerton University Hospital. As a Senior Critical Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit.
Main Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate holistic nursing care for critically ill patients.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Supervise and support junior colleagues to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
- Participate in the development and implementation of care plans to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
- NMC registered nurse with postgraduate Critical Care course.
- Substantive ITU experience with a strong understanding of the complex needs of ITU patients.
- Ability to problem-solve and initiate change in patient management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
