Role Summary
The successful candidate will be an experienced Band 5 nurse with a minimum of two years in an intensive care setting, having completed the necessary critical care training. You will play a pivotal role in mentoring new team members and contributing to various quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in a 12-bed critical care environment.
- Engage in internal rotation, including night shifts, to ensure comprehensive coverage of patient needs.
- Participate in a structured orientation program designed to enhance leadership capabilities.
- Collaborate with the practice development team and outreach services to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Completion of a Critical Care Course (Intensive Care).
- A minimum of two years of recent experience in an acute critical care setting.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the NMC.
Desirable:
- Postgraduate Certificate in a relevant field.
- Recognized qualification in teaching and assessing.
