The Role: Facilities Site Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Site Manager to join our team at HMP Pentonville. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of comprehensive facilities maintenance services across a diverse range of areas.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of skilled tradespeople, including plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, and cleaners.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to ensure the efficient operation of all building systems and infrastructure.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimize cost performance and deliver value for money.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in facilities management, ideally within a similar environment such as a prison or military setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • A comprehensive understanding of building services and maintenance practices.
  • A commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.
