Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will serve as the primary contact for patients regarding their care pathways, catering to both inpatients and outpatients. This role involves collaboration within a multidisciplinary team under the guidance of the Clinical Lead, ensuring effective management of the patient journey from referral to discharge. The position requires maintaining high levels of satisfaction for both patients and clinicians by being an approachable, knowledgeable, and customer-focused point of contact.

To standardize processes across the Trust, established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) will outline the execution of this role and the associated timelines. As a Trainee, the individual will perform their duties under supervision.

  • Basic secondary education with NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.

  • Understanding of patient priorities and performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of healthcare administrative systems and processes.
  • Awareness of Primary Care, GP, and community services.
  • Proficiency in IT and patient data systems, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and EPR.
