Senior Business Development Manager

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager to join our Eastern Construction team in Essex. As a key member of our Regional Construction team, you'll play a vital role in identifying and pursuing profitable opportunities, while maintaining strong relationships with customers and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present Kier with potential clients and consultants through direct communication, regular face-to-face meetings, and strategic networking.
  • Report on Business Development activities to the management board, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Represent Kier at industry events and trade shows, showcasing our expertise and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to company standards.
  • Establish key client and consultant drivers, fostering a deep understanding of their needs and preferences.

Requirements:

  • Established experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of business development success.
  • Exceptional relationship management and networking abilities, coupled with a genuine passion for the sector.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
