About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager to join our Eastern Construction team in Essex, covering a wide geographic area including Hertfordshire and Suffolk.

This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a strong understanding of the construction industry and proven experience in business development activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue profitable opportunities through direct communication, regular face-to-face meetings, and strategic networking.
  • Develop and maintain deep-rooted relationships with customers and consultants to drive business growth.
  • Represent Kier at industry events and trade shows to establish the company as a thought leader.
  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities to ensure timely delivery and high-quality information presentation.
  • Establish key client and consultant drivers to inform business development strategies.
Requirements
  • Established experience in the construction industry.
  • Proven track record in business development activities.
  • Exceptional relationship management and networking skills, coupled with a genuine passion for the sector.
  • Strong communication skills in all forms.
