BASIC SALARY: £28,000 - £35,000

JOB DESCRIPTION / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Internal Sales Specialist, Account Executive - Technical Industrial Products

  • This role involves managing and developing an account base of over 100 clients, which includes making outbound calls and responding to incoming inquiries.
  • While cold calling is minimal, this proactive sales position requires you to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling by utilizing your questioning skills to uncover additional needs of the customers.
  • You will be responsible for monitoring customer developments and ensuring follow-ups on potential business and orders.
  • Collaborate closely with a seasoned Senior Inside Sales Executive / Manager, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth and learning.
  • There may be occasions to visit clients alongside other sales personnel when appropriate.

  • Experience in a proactive internal sales role, preferably with technical products or within an industrial setting, along with the capability to grasp and convey technical information to clients.
  • Strong relationship-building and account management skills, with a proven track record of identifying opportunities for upselling and range expansion.

With over thirty years of establishment, our client is a distributor of a comprehensive range of technical industrial consumables, including silicones, adhesives, encapsulants, sealants, tapes, seals, and gaskets, representing a variety of global manufacturers.

They offer unique repackaging capabilities, allowing for tailored packaging solutions. Their core strengths lie in delivering added value through extensive technical expertise, product customization, and exceptional customer service.
Having doubled in size over the past four years through organic growth and strategic acquisitions, they were acquired by a FTSE 100 multinational corporation, further enhancing their market position.

With a total workforce of 40, including 14 in sales and customer service roles, the team comprises external Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, Customer Service Representatives, and a marketing and e-Commerce division led by the Marketing Manager.
