BASIC SALARY: £28,000 - £35,000

JOB DESCRIPTION/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Internal Sales Consultant, Account Manager - Technical Industrial Products

  • This role involves managing and developing an established account base of over 100 clients, focusing on proactive sales through outbound calls and incoming inquiries.
  • Although cold calling is minimal, the position requires a proactive approach to upselling and cross-selling, utilizing your skills to identify additional solutions and product offerings for clients.
  • You will maintain awareness of customer developments and ensure follow-up on potential business opportunities and orders.
  • Collaboration with a seasoned Inside Sales Executive / Manager will provide valuable learning opportunities.
  • There may be occasions to visit clients alongside other sales personnel when appropriate.

  • Experience in a proactive internal sales environment, preferably with technical products or in an industrial setting, along with the ability to understand and communicate technical information effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building and account management capabilities, with a proven track record in identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

With over thirty years of experience, our client is a distributor of a comprehensive range of technical industrial consumables, including silicones, adhesives, encapsulants, sealants, tapes, seals, and gaskets, representing various global manufacturers.

They offer unique repackaging facilities that enable customized packaging solutions. Their core values emphasize added value through deep technical expertise, product customization, and exceptional customer service.
In recent years, they have experienced significant growth, doubling in size through organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.

In 2021, they became part of a FTSE 100 multinational corporation and have continued to thrive since.

The team consists of 40 employees, including 14 in sales and customer service roles, along with a marketing and e-commerce team led by the Marketing Manager.
