We are collaborating with a reputable engineering firm seeking a driven, resilient, and self-sufficient International Sales Engineer. This role is ideal for an individual who excels in establishing and nurturing robust global partnerships.


Extensive travel is a fundamental aspect of this position, presenting a remarkable opportunity for those who view the world as a canvas for their career in Technical Sales.


The successful candidate will operate in a hybrid capacity, managing all technical and sales responsibilities primarily across the UK and Europe, with potential for further international engagement. Initial training will be conducted in an office setting.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the sale of company products to new, returning, and existing clients.
  • Enhance the long-term sustainability and profitability of the organization.
  • Provide updates on activities during monthly sales meetings.
  • Introduce new projects as agreed upon on a case-by-case basis.
  • Support Technical Sales initiatives as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Sales Team.
  • Develop and maintain key accounts within the organization.
  • Assist and collaborate with fellow Sales Team members.
  • Manage and expand existing client relationships while overseeing end-to-end sales processes.

Candidate Profile:
  • A motivated, self-sufficient, and ambitious individual who enjoys travel.
  • Possession of an engineering qualification (HNC, HND, or Degree) with a keen interest in the electrical sector and the ability to devise production-ready solutions for diverse challenges.
  • Previous experience in a technical sales capacity is preferred, along with proficiency in a second language and travel experience.
  • Strong understanding of electrical switching precision engineering and problem-solving skills.
  • Essential knowledge of production engineering.
  • A technical qualification, such as being Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree, is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with quality systems is expected.
  • A valid clean driving license and UK/EU passport are required.
