About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team at Concept Technical Resources. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and assisting in the sale of our company's products to new, lapsed, and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the company to clients in an honest and professional manner.
  • Boost the long-term viability and profitability of the company.
  • Report on activities in monthly sales meetings.
  • Provide short customer visit reports.
  • Note trends and statistical forecasts.
  • Introduction of new jobs as agreed on a project-by-project basis.
  • Supporting Technical Sales as required.
  • Interact and support with other Sales Team activities.
  • Proactively boost the profitability of the business.
  • Growing key accounts within the business.
  • Backing up and working with other Sales Team members.
  • Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development with end-to-end sales responsibilities.
  • Liaise with various internal departments needed to ensure delivery on time and on budget.
Requirements
  • Motivated, self-reliant, tenacious, ambitious, and enjoys traveling.
  • Strong B2B relationship builder and can maintain and grow working relationships.
  • Engineering qualification, HNC, HND, or Degree qualified with a desire to work within the electrical industry and an ability to see production-ready solutions to diverse problems.
  • Will ideally have experience in a technical sales role with second language and travel experience.
  • A good understanding of electrical switching precision engineering and problem-solving.
  • A good understanding of production engineering essential.
  • Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable company.
  • A technical qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree is essential.
  • Good knowledge and experience of quality systems expected.
  • Experience selling not necessarily needed for the right candidate.
  • Full clean driving license and UK/EU passport.
