About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Director to lead and drive all sales and marketing activities within our clients third-party logistics organisation in the Midlands. As a key member of our team at Black Cat Recruitment Ltd, you will be responsible for delivering consistent sales growth, developing strategic business initiatives, and ensuring the relevant teams are high-performing, well-trained, and focused on targets.

  1. Develop and execute the company's sales, business development, and marketing strategy, driving revenue growth and market expansion.
  2. Lead and motivate the Sales, Business Development, and Marketing teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  3. Set and monitor revenue targets, KPIs, and company performance, implementing improvements where needed to optimize business outcomes.
  4. Build relationships across sectors to drive new business and sales growth, leveraging industry connections and partnerships.
  5. Ensure best practices in sales processes, lead tracking, and CRM usage, maintaining a competitive edge in the market.
  6. Collaborate with directors and stakeholders to secure major accounts, driving business growth and revenue expansion.
  7. Present sales results and contribute to strategic planning, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  8. Negotiate contracts, ensuring commercial success and alignment with business goals, maximizing revenue and profitability.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Sales Director in the logistics sector, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  2. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage commercial processes, negotiate effectively, and grow accounts.
  3. Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel within the UK and abroad, as required.
