Business Engagement Coordinator

The Business Engagement Coordinator plays a pivotal role in assessing, refining, and managing all incoming client inquiries, new matter requests, revisions, and conflict checks through the Firm's automated business intake platform. Serving as the primary liaison for new submissions, this position demands exceptional organizational capabilities and the capacity to manage extensive litigation and restructuring tasks. The Business Engagement Coordinator collaborates with various team members and legal professionals, ensuring that all intake submissions are processed with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and gather information on new requests for data searches, prospective clients, and new matters.
  • Support research, analysis, and documentation related to significant litigations and restructuring initiatives.
  • Oversee data cleansing projects and address specific client and matter information inquiries.
  • Work closely with team members to resolve urgent issues and deliver accurate information promptly.
  • Manage departmental email communications and represent the Business Intake and Conflicts department professionally.
  • Ensure adherence to all intake requests awaiting action from relevant parties.
  • Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards while updating internal and external information repositories.
  • Direct unidentified materials and inquiries to the appropriate departments with professionalism.
  • Assist in processing new client and matter documentation, and suggest technological and procedural enhancements.
  • Act as a technical resource and training facilitator for end-users and new hires.
  • Be available for urgent matters and special assignments as needed.
