About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Front Desk Coordinator to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for managing a busy reception desk and guiding service users to appropriate services available to them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a busy reception desk, ensuring a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.
  • Guide service users to appropriate services available to them, providing information and support as needed.
  • Sign in visitors, handle telephone calls, and perform general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and managing the email inbox.
  • Utilize multiple in-house systems, requiring strong IT skills and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and a telephone manner, with the ability to work in a pressured environment.
  • Understanding of the importance of 'Child Protection and Safeguarding' issues when working on a school reception.
  • Recent experience working as a school receptionist, with satisfactory references.
  • Enhanced DBS check, as required by law for anyone working in a school.
