Head of International Marketing and Business Development

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our international marketing efforts and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Team Management: Manage and lead a team of international marketing professionals based in various locations, including London, Berlin, Stockholm, Sydney, Miami, and Paris.
- Business Development: Develop and expand our international business, including opening up new and growth territories.
- Marketing Strategy: Oversee the creation and implementation of global marketing plans and strategies for our artist and label clients.
- Client Relationships: Work directly with key clients and their teams to agree strategies and objectives and to review performance.
- Budget Management: Approve international marketing budgets in consultation with clients.
- Partnerships: Manage relationships with our international distribution, licensee, and promotion partners around the world.
- Travel: Travel regularly to international territories to build and strengthen relationships and oversee campaigns, and to represent our company at relevant international events.
- Leadership: Work closely with other senior managers across the business as part of the leadership team.
- New Business: Contribute to the process of bringing in new clients to our company.
We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in international music marketing and business development. The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive music industry experience, specifically at a record label in international music markets, with a proven track record of managing large multi-territory marketing and promotional campaigns.
- Comprehensive knowledge of both the physical and digital retail/streaming landscape.
- Experience of building and managing successful international marketing teams.
- Existing global network of contacts across DSPs, media, PR & Promotion companies, and other commercial partners.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with a commitment to excellence and providing client-focused service.
- Ability to work proactively and entrepreneurially, adapt to changing priorities and market conditions, and deliver high-quality results while maintaining professionalism.
- Frequent international travel is required.
