Located at our Oxford facility, this position is crucial for overseeing our premises that support our Manufacturing, Engineering Research and Development, Service and Maintenance, and E Lab Clinical teams. You will ensure that these specialized workspaces are effectively maintained for the production, servicing, maintenance, training, and research of our medical devices and their applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and plan essential business services, including utility upkeep, waste management, and security.
  • Manage contracts related to insurances, utilities, and various business services.
  • Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of all OrganOx UK facilities to minimize disruption to core business operations.
  • Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with work permits, verifying that tasks are completed to the required standards.
  • Manage visitor access to the site.
  • Be prepared to respond to or manage appropriate actions in case of emergencies, such as intrusions, fire alarms, or other unforeseen incidents.
  • Communicate all relevant projects and ongoing work to the Operations Team monthly to support Senior Management meetings.
  • Conduct routine in-house fire safety inspections, including checks on fire alarms, refuge points, and extinguishers.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in facilities management, preferably within an organization that recognizes NQF Level 6 qualifications (Degree, Degree apprenticeship, or BTECT advanced professional diploma). A recognized qualification in Engineering, Building Services, or Facilities Management is essential.
