Key Responsibilities

This position has a dual focus, with approximately 70% dedicated to People Operations and Advisory work, and 30% focused on Talent acquisition. Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with managers and leaders to gain a deep understanding of their teams, addressing their successes and challenges while acting as a trusted advisor.

  • Employing creative problem-solving techniques while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
  • Utilizing data effectively to inform decisions, including metrics related to employee health, benefits, and recruitment.
  • Maintaining our HRIS, ensuring it accurately reflects our workforce for easy access by the People team.
  • Contributing to global People team initiatives focused on employee engagement, performance management, and updating essential documentation.
  • Coordinating with external legal teams on matters related to sponsorship and visas for employees.

While the primary focus is on advising and partnering with key stakeholders, you will also manage the complete recruitment cycle, which is expected to take up about 30% of your time.

Talent Acquisition Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the recruitment process from job advertising to candidate offers.
  • Assisting in the review of job descriptions to ensure inclusivity and fairness.
  • Managing job postings and sourcing through various platforms.
  • Educating leaders on new system features while providing constructive feedback on hiring requests.
  • Coordinating interviews and providing feedback to candidates.
  • Implementing innovative strategies to attract diverse and top-tier talent.
  • Fostering a culture of health, safety, and well-being within the workplace.
  • Embodying and promoting our company values in all aspects of your role.

Qualifications

Essential skills for this role include:

  • A genuine passion for working with people.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to various stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, recognizing the impact of minor changes.
  • Proficiency in systems and automation, with a willingness to explore new technologies.
  • A coaching mindset, balancing commercial objectives with human considerations.
  • Knowledge of UK employment law is crucial; familiarity with US and EMEA laws is advantageous.
  • The ability to prioritize effectively and communicate necessary boundaries.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Enhanced pension contributions
  • Life assurance
  • Generous annual leave policy
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Access to mental health support
  • Cycle to work scheme
