About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior HR Leader to join our team at Runna as the Head of People and Talent. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our organization and lead our people operations function to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent in the industry, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • People Operations: Design and implement learning and development programs to support career growth and professional development for all team members, ensuring a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Performance Management: Establish and manage a robust performance management process, including setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance reviews to foster continuous learning, skills development, and leadership growth.
  • Culture and Engagement: Champion the Runna culture and lead initiatives to ensure it is lived throughout the company, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in both hiring and internally to create a welcoming and inclusive workplace for all current and potential team members.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent, ensuring all offerings comply with legal standards and align with industry benchmarks.
  • HR Operations: Further develop Runna's HR operations, including employee records, payroll, ATS, and HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and ensuring compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior HR or people operations role, preferably in a fast-growing startup.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective talent acquisition strategies, people operations, and performance management processes.
  • Experience in championing DEI initiatives, both in hiring and in fostering an inclusive workplace environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present new ideas to senior leadership.
