Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior HR Hire to join our team at Handle Recruitment as the first Head of People and Talent. This is an exciting opportunity to build and lead the people function from the ground up, helping to shape the company's culture and drive business growth.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives to support the company's growth and expansion.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with senior leadership, employees, and external partners to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Design and deliver training programs, employee engagement initiatives, and diversity and inclusion strategies to enhance employee experience and retention.
  • Develop and implement HR operations, including recruitment, talent management, and performance management processes.
  • Provide counsel to senior leadership on HR-related matters, including employment law, employee relations, and benefits.

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in a scaling startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop and implement strategic HR plans that drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the UK and US territories.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
