Role Overview

The position of People and Talent Partner is a full-time, permanent role based in London with a hybrid working model. Reporting to the VP of People, this role offers a unique opportunity to engage with the entire employee lifecycle at Go City.

Key Responsibilities

This role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities, primarily focusing on:

  • Collaborating with management to gain insights into team dynamics, challenges, and successes, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Building robust relationships with leadership, ensuring proactive communication regarding potential issues and solutions.
  • Employing creative problem-solving approaches while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
  • Utilizing data analytics to inform decision-making, monitoring metrics such as employee engagement and recruitment effectiveness.
  • Maintaining our HRIS, ensuring accurate and accessible data for the People team.
  • Contributing to global People team initiatives, including employee engagement and performance management.
  • Coordinating with external legal advisors on matters related to sponsorship and visas.

Talent Acquisition Responsibilities

In addition to advisory functions, you will oversee the recruitment process, dedicating approximately 30% of your time to this area:

  • Managing the recruitment cycle from job advertising to candidate offers.
  • Reviewing job descriptions for inclusivity and bias.
  • Utilizing various sourcing platforms to attract diverse talent.
  • Guiding leaders on recruitment best practices and managing interview processes.
  • Exploring innovative strategies to attract top-tier talent.
