Lead People Strategist (9 month FTC)

We are seeking a Lead People Strategist for a 9-month fixed-term maternity cover.

This position is part of our People Team, reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, with managerial responsibilities over the People Partner team.

You will collaborate with Funding Circle's leadership to pinpoint, develop, and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.

It is expected that this role will require presence in our London office at least two to three days a week, with the potential for more frequent attendance as needed.

The primary initiative you will engage in is our performance and salary review cycle.

This requires collaboration with Senior Leadership and all People team functions to ensure a fair and effective process that recognizes high performance.

You will also contribute to our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) roadmap and initiatives, leveraging past experiences to help establish sustainable and accessible programs and practices.

As a champion of company culture, you will ensure that all people initiatives, solutions, and programs reflect the organization's values.

Working within the People Partner team, you will lead and assist in resolving complex and high-risk people issues.

You will also spearhead specific and ad-hoc projects related to organizational design and other people change processes.
Utilizing data and analytics, you will help identify trends, recommend appropriate interventions, and measure impact.

Collaboration with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, and Total Reward will be essential to ensure a seamless people experience across the organization.

You will proactively address challenges, confidently mitigating any risks, issues, or control weaknesses that arise in your daily activities.
A solid understanding of local laws and regulations in the UK, along with experience in managing complex employee relations matters, is essential.
An analytical mindset is crucial, enabling you to delve into People data to extract insights. We firmly believe that diversity enhances our effectiveness.
