Job Title: Ambulatory Care Nurse

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Ambulatory Care Nurse to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Ambulatory Unit.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric nursing and experience in ambulatory care. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients in our Ambulatory Unit. You will also be expected to lead the team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of patients in the Ambulatory Unit.
  2. Lead the team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  3. Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of patients.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  5. Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to ambulatory care.
Requirements:
  • 1st level Registered Paediatric Nurse
  • Mentorship programme or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Further relevant post-registration professional studies
  • Team building and working skills – able to lead a team to achieve results
