Job Summary

Forest Green Rovers Football Club is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Head of Academy Coaching and Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the Academy's Coaching Curriculum, ensuring consistency with the Playing Philosophy and Coaching Philosophy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coaching and player development, with experience in designing and delivering coaching programs. They will be responsible for observing coach performance, providing feedback, and developing individual development plans for each coach.

The Head of Academy Coaching and Development will also be responsible for ensuring all coaches are qualified as per Youth Development rules and implementing safeguarding policies and procedures.

Essential Qualifications And Experience

  • UEFA A Licence
  • FA Advanced Youth Award
  • FA Safeguarding Children Certificate
  • EFAiF
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Understanding of the Academy Audit process
  • Experience of working in an Academy
