About The Role

Forest Green Rovers Football Club is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Head of Academy Coaching. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of coaches and players within the club's academy, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of performance and achievement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coaching and youth development, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing coaching programs. They will be able to work effectively with a team of coaches and staff to achieve the club's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement coaching programs that meet the needs of the club's academy players
  • Lead and manage a team of coaches to ensure that they are delivering high-quality coaching sessions
  • Work with the club's coaching staff to develop and implement a coaching curriculum that meets the needs of the academy players
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the academy players and provide feedback to the coaching staff
  • Develop and implement a coach development program to ensure that the coaching staff are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality coaching sessions
