Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Supervisor to join our team at Thorpe Park. As an Electrical Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of electrical engineers and technicians to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of electrical engineers and technicians to achieve departmental objectives and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  2. Health and Safety: Implement and control health and safety activities within the area of responsibility to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  3. Technical Services: Facilitate the interface between the Technical Services – Operations team to enhance communication practices and improve overall efficiency.
  4. Financial Management: Demonstrate sound financial stewardship and control within the scope of activities and authority to ensure the effective use of resources.
  5. Organisational Capability: Contribute to enhancing organisational capability by demonstrating technical expertise and behavioural competencies.
  6. Team Development: Identify, nurture, grow, and retain a technically strong, mutually supportive, and committed team of professionals.
  7. Core Values: Promote and champion the delivery of core Technical Services values, mission, and objectives to ensure implementation throughout the work team.
  8. Customer Recognition: Attain internal customer recognition as the primary technical resource to react to planned and unplanned situations and events.

  • Strong leadership and people skills.
  • Ability to clearly focus on the planning and preparation of activities administered by the engineering teams.
  • Highly developed technical competences commensurate with the scope of the role.
  • Demonstrable behavioural competencies that are the hallmarks of an effective and respected team supervisor.

This role is paying £47,362 - £50,383 per annum.
