Electrical Engineering Supervisor - Chertsey, Surrey

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Engineering Supervisor is expected to consistently exhibit exceptional performance across a wide range of integrated functions in support of the designated Area Manager. The individual in this role will strive to achieve the same agreed and measurable departmental goals as peers in similar managerial or supervisory positions.

Core Duties Include:

  • Overseeing and enforcing Health and Safety protocols within the designated area
  • Facilitating collaboration between the Technical Services and Operations teams while improving communication practices
  • Assisting with Marketing initiatives within the area of influence as required
  • Exhibiting and monitoring effective financial management and oversight within the scope of responsibilities
  • Contributing to the enhancement of Organizational Capability through consistent demonstration and role modeling of both technical expertise and behavioral competencies
  • Identifying, developing, and retaining a technically proficient, supportive, and dedicated team of professionals, serving as a mentor and source of inspiration for colleagues
  • Promoting and advocating for the delivery of core Technical Services values, mission, and objectives, ensuring implementation throughout the work team while maintaining alignment with organizational priorities
  • Achieving recognition from internal customers as the primary technical resource when responding to both planned and unplanned situations, effectively managing circumstances as necessary through consistent performance in fulfilling responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience

  • Ensuring full compliance with both external and internal mandatory requirements, including timely responses to Safety Bulletins, Technical Bulletins, Technical Manual Revisions, and PPM Amendments
  • Assisting engineering managers with the planning and execution of annual engineering activities, business KPIs, and other long-term objectives during operational seasons and inspection periods

This position requires strong interpersonal skills, leadership capabilities, and a clear focus on the planning and preparation of activities managed by the engineering teams throughout operational seasons and maintenance periods.

The ideal candidate will possess and actively demonstrate a blend of highly developed technical competencies appropriate to the role, complemented by demonstrable behavioral competencies that characterize an effective and respected team supervisor.
