Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Supervisor to join our team at Thorpe Park Resort. As a key member of our Technical Services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical operations and maintenance of our theme park.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety: Implement and control health and safety activities within the electrical department, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Technical Services: Facilitate the interface between the Technical Services – Operations team, enhancing communication practices and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Marketing Support: Provide support to marketing initiatives within the electrical department, as required.
  • Financial Management: Demonstrate sound financial stewardship and control, ensuring effective management of departmental resources.
  • Team Development: Identify, nurture, and grow a technically strong and committed team of professionals, acting as a mentor and inspiration to all colleagues.
  • Core Values: Promote and champion the delivery of core Technical Services values, mission, and objectives, ensuring implementation throughout the work team.
  • Customer Service: Attain internal customer recognition as the primary technical resource, managing situations as necessary through consistent performance in carrying out the responsibilities of the Electrical Engineering Supervisor role.
Requirements
  • Maintain full compliance with external and internal mandatory requirements, including responding accordingly to safety bulletins, technical bulletins, and other regulatory updates.
  • Assist engineering managers with the planning and delivery of annual engineering activities, business KPIs, and other long-term objectives.
