Company Overview: TXM Recruit is seeking a dedicated Facilities Electrical Specialist to join our team, focusing on high-end residential properties.

Position Summary: This role involves a commitment of 40 hours per week, with a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, either 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM. Opportunities for overtime are abundant, and weekend shifts will be required on a rotating basis (approximately once every four weeks).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive maintenance support, including installation, planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance for site services and equipment.
  • Conduct testing, inspection, and certification of electrical distribution boards and fixed wiring systems.
  • Participate in the on-call rota as part of the Maintenance Team.
  • Manage seasonal shift patterns, which may include weekends and evenings.
  • Oversee the maintenance and installation of emergency lighting systems.
  • Supervise contractors on-site, ensuring tasks are performed to the required standards.
  • Deliver specialized technical support related to building plant and equipment.
  • Possess knowledge of electrical services in plant rooms, including motors, pumps, and fan coil units.
  • Ensure that maintenance standards and quality of work meet company expectations.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly regarding health and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Engineering or technical qualification (e.g., apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline).
  • Certification in electrical installation inspection and testing (e.g., C&G 2391, C&G 2394, C&G 2395).
  • Experience in building services is essential.
  • A full, clean UK driving license is required.
  • Strong knowledge and competency in other building services areas (e.g., BMS, mechanical systems).
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Highly adaptable and flexible in approach.
