Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our team in the North of England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, building strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to maximize sales potential.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers.
    • Conduct on-site sales visits, product demonstrations, and training sessions.
  • Account Management
    • Manage key accounts and identify opportunities for growth.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Marketing and Communications
    • Assist with marketing activities, including sales and training videos, webinars, and product promotions.
    • Report on competitor activity and market conditions.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records in our CRM system.
    • Follow system processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Education and Qualifications
    • BSc or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Familiarity with Organic/Medicinal/Scale-up and Process Chemists in Pharmaceutical, CRO, Biotech, BioPharma, Research, and Chemical organizations.
    • Understanding of products in process and organic chemistry.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Dynamic, self-motivated, and well-organized with an eye for detail.
    • Team player with strong decision-making capabilities.
    • Flexible and eager to engage at all levels.
