Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our team in the North of England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving business growth and building strong relationships with our customers in the designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Utilize your expertise to identify new sales opportunities and manage the sales cycle to maximize sales potential.
  • Develop and Maintain Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers through structured site visits and effective communication.
  • Conduct Sales Visits and Product Demonstrations: Conduct on-site sales visits, product demonstrations, and training sessions to showcase our products and services.
  • Manage Sales Records and Processes: Maintain accurate records in our CRM system and follow established sales processes to support sales development.
  • Participate in Marketing Activities: Assist with marketing efforts, participate in sales and training videos, and report on competitor activity and market conditions.
Requirements:
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Organic/Medicinal/Scale-up and Process Chemists in Pharmaceutical, CRO, Biotech, BioPharma, Research, and Chemical organizations.
  • Proven Sales Track Record: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Education and Qualifications: BSc or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of products in process and organic chemistry, proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Personal Qualities: Dynamic, self-motivated, and well-organized with an eye for detail, team player with strong decision-making capabilities.
