Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our team in the North of England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving business growth and building strong relationships with our customers in the designated territory.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and manage the sales cycle to maximize sales potential.
- Customer Relationships: Maintain and develop relationships through structured site visits and communications with current and potential customers. Identify and manage key accounts.
- Product Demonstrations and Training: Conduct on-site sales visits, product demonstrations, and training sessions. Overnight stays will be required.
- Record Keeping and CRM: Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, follow system processes, and use the system to support sales development.
- Marketing and Events: Organize and attend mini-exhibitions and symposiums. Assist with marketing activities, participate in sales and training videos and webinars, and report on competitor activity and market conditions.
- Experience and Qualifications: Familiarity with Organic/Medicinal/Scale-up and Process Chemists in Pharmaceutical, CRO, Biotech, BioPharma, Research, and Chemical organizations. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. BSc or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Understanding of products in process and organic chemistry. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Full UK driving license.
- Personal Qualities: Dynamic, self-motivated, and well-organized with an eye for detail. Team player with strong decision-making capabilities. Flexible and eager to engage at all levels. Confident in dealing with senior managers.
- Competitive Salary: Up to £48,000 DOE.
- Commission and Bonus: Opportunities for additional earnings based on performance.
