OVERVIEW

We are thrilled to present an opportunity for a skilled Team Leader to become a vital part of our Conference and Events division at The Celtic Collection.

The position demands a keen attention to detail to guarantee that the utmost standards of service are maintained throughout the guests' experience at the venue.

You should be an outstanding team collaborator, a source of motivation, possess strong communication abilities, and have a genuine enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service. A professional demeanor and high standards of presentation are essential.

With a background in leading teams within the hospitality sector, you should have a fervor for the industry and a commitment to providing our guests with an unforgettable experience.

Experience in a four or five-star hotel or in a setting that has catered to large-scale banqueting is preferred.



WHAT YOU'LL DO

As one of several Team Leaders reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee small teams to assist in the execution of daily events.

This may involve managing a small event or a series of small meetings, or supervising a busy lunch service.

During dinner service, your responsibility will be to lead a team of up to 12 staff members to serve plated meals to designated tables, ensuring that every guest receives their meal, including managing special dietary requests.

Before service, you will conduct a briefing with your team to clarify roles and inspect your area.

Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and quick thinking are essential, as changes may occur with little notice.

Depending on your skills and growth potential, you will have opportunities to engage with clients and develop the expertise needed to confidently manage events for up to 150 attendees, with support available for those aspiring to advance to Supervisor, Floor Manager, and beyond.
