Job Description

Job Title: Paediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Paediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist Manager to lead our Paediatric CNS team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and managing a team of clinical nurse specialists.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and management to the Paediatric CNS team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services.
  • Clinical Governance: Ensure the safe and effective delivery of clinical services, maintaining high standards of professional practice and governance.
  • Team Development: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the skills and knowledge of the Paediatric CNS team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Service Development: Contribute to the development of new services and initiatives, ensuring they are aligned with the Trust's strategic objectives and meet the needs of our patients and families.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Registered Nurse - Child, Teaching Qualification, Management Qualification
  • Experience: Proven current and significant experience in the field, proven experience of managing a team of people, proven experience of child protection management, experience of change management
  • Skills: Demonstrable clinical, organisational, communication and team building skills, evidence of successfully delivering high-quality holistic care, support, and teaching to young people, families, and the wider caring team
