About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Paediatrics at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team working with children and young people to assess and treat a range of mental health and wellbeing issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and young people's mental health and wellbeing needs
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address identified needs
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive service
  • Provide training and supervision to junior staff members
  • Contribute to the development of service policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology
  • HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Experience of working with children and young people in a mental health setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
