Clinical Psychologist Opportunity in Paediatrics

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Paediatrics at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological services to children and families.

The successful candidate will have a postgraduate doctoral level training in applied Psychology and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Experience of working in a physical health setting is desirable, but we welcome applications from clinicians with transferable skills.

Main Responsibilities

As a Clinical Psychologist in Paediatrics, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing assessment and treatment services to children and families
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Engaging in clinical supervision and professional development to maintain expertise
  • Contributing to the development of service policies and procedures

Person Specification

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with:

  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in applied Psychology
  • HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist
  • Experience of working in a physical health setting (desirable)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
