OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Team Leader to enhance our Conference and Events team at The Celtic Collection.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen attention to detail to guarantee that exceptional service standards are maintained throughout the guest experience.

As a collaborative team player, you should be a source of motivation, exhibit strong communication abilities, and have a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service. A professional demeanor and high standards of presentation are essential.

Your background should include experience in leading teams within a hospitality context, showcasing your enthusiasm for the industry and commitment to providing guests with unforgettable experiences.

Experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel or in environments that cater to large-scale banqueting is preferred.



WHAT YOU'LL DO

As one of several Team Leaders reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee small teams tasked with executing daily events.

Your responsibilities may include managing a small event, coordinating a series of meetings, or supervising a busy lunch service.

During dinner service, you will lead a team of up to 12 staff members to ensure the timely delivery of plated meals to designated tables, including managing special dietary requests.

Prior to service, you will conduct briefings with your team to clarify roles and inspect your area for readiness.

Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and adaptability to sudden changes are crucial.

Depending on your skills and growth potential, you may also engage in client interactions and be provided with opportunities to develop your capabilities, aiming for responsibilities that include managing events for up to 150 attendees, with support available for those aspiring to advance to Supervisor, Floor Manager, and beyond.
