We are a well-established and expanding independent insurance brokerage, currently seeking a Commercial Lines Account Handler to enhance and manage our commercial client relationships.

This role is set in a supportive environment where sales pressure is minimal; our clientele primarily comes from referrals, and we operate under full regulatory compliance.


BASIC SALARY:
£30,000 - £40,000

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Account Handler / Commercial Lines Insurance / Account Manager - Insurance

As a Commercial Account Handler, your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing policy renewals, including re-marketing, midterm adjustments, and ongoing policy administration.
  • Providing client service advice, including risk management guidance, market insights, and broking findings.
  • Marketing and managing new business inquiries, along with necessary administration.
  • Overseeing the administration of Commercial Lines claims.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Account Handler / Commercial Lines Insurance / Account Manager - Insurance

To excel in this role, you should possess strong communication skills across various mediums, a keen attention to detail, and:
  • Previous experience in the insurance sector, particularly in Commercial Business insurance, with an understanding of FCA guidelines.
  • Ideally, you will have completed IF1/FIT or an equivalent qualification; however, we will cover reasonable costs for completion during the probationary period if not.
  • Experience in a regulated environment or compliance background is preferred.
