Position: Care Coordinator

Location: Bedford

Job Overview:
As a Care Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to organize and oversee high-quality care services for our clients, ensuring that they receive exceptional support consistently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage effective schedules tailored to the unique needs of clients and Care Professionals.
  • Prepare schedules while considering travel time, holidays, training sessions, and unexpected changes.
  • Adapt to schedule modifications, collaborating seamlessly with relevant team members.
  • Work alongside the client services team to match Care Professionals with new clients and facilitate introductions.
  • Ensure client schedules are aligned with their preferences, aiming for consistency with the same Care Professional and time slots weekly.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with both clients and Care Professionals to enhance their overall experience.
  • Act as a primary contact for families and clients, assisting in the management of their care and support needs.
  • Input new clients into the scheduling system, including funding, care plans, and support schedules.
  • Collaborate closely with the recruitment team to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained.
  • Monitor capacity within your area to support recruitment and onboarding initiatives.
  • Partner with the Care Team to ensure that both new and existing care packages are effectively resourced and scheduled.
  • Maintain and update all client and Care Professional information within the electronic scheduling system.
  • Perform any additional duties necessary for the smooth operation of the business.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in a scheduling role, preferably within home care or a related field such as logistics.
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM software, along with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Resilient and positive attitude with exceptional communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and prioritization abilities, capable of working calmly and accurately under pressure.
  • Team-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build rapport quickly.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Logical and analytical thinker with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
