Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our Front of House team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors to the college.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm and welcoming service to customers, processing queries efficiently and effectively and signposting appropriately.
  • Issue temporary and replacement student and staff ID cards.
  • Process and log visitors to the college using the visitor management software, ensuring they are made to feel welcome and understand the safeguarding and Health & Safety guidance provided to visitors.
  • Manage the use of a virtual chat bot for the college front of house function.
  • Deal with customer queries received through the college's customer service channels.
  • Log and process lost property.
  • Follow up queries to maximise conversions to application and/or enrolment.
  • Continuously improve the accuracy and quality of data input.
  • Utilise various Management Information Systems to input and access data, maintaining compliance with GDPR procedures.

Requirements:

  • GCSE 4-9 (A*-c) or nationally recognised level 2 qualification in Maths or equivalent.
  • GCSE 4-9 (A*-c) or nationally recognised level 2 qualification in English or equivalent.
  • Evidence of high level of keyboard/ word processing skills with good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and the use of the internet.
  • Experience of working in a busy customer services environment.
