Holistic Support Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Care Lead to oversee the daily operations of our Ofsted Registered Children's Home Service.

As a Residential Care Lead, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children in our care. You will be responsible for managing staff, implementing care plans, and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of dedicated care workers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each child in our home.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all Ofsted regulations and guidelines.
  • Manage budgets effectively and oversee medication administration procedures.
  • Provide Person-Centred support plans that empower children to reach their full potential.
  • Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a residential care setting, including 2 years at a senior level.
  • In-depth understanding of Ofsted Regulations and best practices in child care.
  • Level 4 Diploma in Children's Residential Services or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven ability to supervise staff, conduct performance appraisals, and manage budgets effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Full UK Driving License.
