Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Client Ledger and Credit Control Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client ledgers, issuing invoices, and ensuring timely payment of client invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Ledger Management:
    • Issue and post invoices to client ledgers
    • Issue statements to clients
    • Manage and update credit limits for clients on Sage
  • Credit Control:
    • Monitor overdue balances
    • Correspond with clients to chase overdue balances and answer client questions
  • Financial Support:
    • Support the Accounts Manager and Finance Director in producing ad hoc reports and financial information
    • Manage client on-boarding processes, including credit checks and Sage ledger set up
    • Audit draft invoices to ensure they meet necessary criteria
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Maintain client files
    • Support the Accounts Manager with other financial tasks as necessary
