Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Client Ledger and Credit Control Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client ledgers, issuing invoices, and ensuring timely payment of client invoices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Ledger Management:
- Issue and post invoices to client ledgers
- Manage and update credit limits for clients on Sage
- Monitor overdue balances and chase clients for payment
- Financial Administration:
- Support the Accounts Manager and Finance Director in producing financial reports and information
- Audit draft invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintain client files and records
- Communication:
- Correspond with clients to resolve payment queries and issues
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to client inquiries
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Previous experience in credit control and client ledger management
- Knowledge of Sage Line 50 or similar accounting software
- Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Qualifications:
- AAT qualifications or similar
- Highly numerate and proficient in Excel and MS Office
