Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Ledger Management:
    • Issue and post invoices to client ledgers
    • Manage and update credit limits for clients on Sage
    • Monitor overdue balances and chase clients for payment
  • Financial Administration:
    • Support the Accounts Manager and Finance Director in producing financial reports and information
    • Audit draft invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness
    • Maintain client files and records
  • Communication:
    • Correspond with clients to resolve payment queries and issues
    • Provide excellent customer service and respond to client inquiries

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in credit control and client ledger management
    • Knowledge of Sage Line 50 or similar accounting software
  • Skills:
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Qualifications:
    • AAT qualifications or similar
    • Highly numerate and proficient in Excel and MS Office
