Echo House Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Credit Control and Client Ledger Specialist to join our finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our client ledger and credit control processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Client Ledger Management:
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date client ledger records, including invoicing, statements, and credit limits.
- Monitor and reconcile client accounts to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Credit Control:
- Identify and pursue outstanding debts, communicating with clients to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Develop and implement effective credit control strategies to minimize bad debt and optimize cash flow.
- Financial Administration:
- Assist with financial reporting, including preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
- Support the Accounts Manager and Finance Director in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Communication and Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including the Accounts Manager, Finance Director, and other team members.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a credit control or financial administration role.
- Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Education:
- AAT qualifications or equivalent.
