Job Description

Job Summary:

Echo House Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Credit Control and Client Ledger Specialist to join our finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our client ledger and credit control processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Client Ledger Management:
    • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date client ledgers, including invoicing, statements, and credit limits.
    • Monitor and reconcile client accounts to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Credit Control:
    • Identify and pursue outstanding debts, communicating with clients to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
    • Develop and implement effective credit control strategies to minimize bad debt and optimize cash flow.
  • Financial Administration:
    • Support the Accounts Manager and Finance Director in preparing financial reports, statements, and other financial information.
    • Assist with the onboarding of new clients, including credit checks and setup of client ledgers.
  • General Administration:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including client files and financial documents.
    • Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a credit control or client ledger role.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Education:
    • AAT qualifications or equivalent.
