Key Account Manager

As a Key Account Manager at KION Group, you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing key customer accounts within the framework of existing contracts. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that service levels and commercial requirements are consistently met, fostering strong relationships with our valued clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement, develop, and manage contracts to achieve both financial and service targets, ensuring alignment with KION Group's strategic objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive account reviews, presenting key performance indicators (KPIs) that demonstrate the effectiveness of our service delivery and contract performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service-related issues, coordinating timely and effective responses across various regions and departments within KION Group.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities within existing accounts, proposing innovative solutions that meet evolving customer needs and contribute to market share growth.
  • Analyze customer data and industry trends to propose corrective actions aimed at reducing operational spend and enhancing overall efficiency for our clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and site visits within KION Group's CRM system, ensuring seamless information flow across the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a strong focus on prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude, high energy levels, and a proactive approach to achieving shared goals.
  • Proficiency in relevant IT systems, including ERP software, Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and SAP Business Warehouse.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating and closing after-sales business deals and contracts, with a proven track record of successful P&L responsibility.
