Receptionist - Birmingham

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Receptionist to join our team at Valor Hospitality Europe in Birmingham. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience, answering questions, and offering information about hotel services, facilities, and the local area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the front desk, handling check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
  • Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with room maintenance, reporting any issues or concerns to the relevant departments.
  • Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a positive working environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment, preferably in a reception or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Ability to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
