Position Overview

As an Outpatient Pharmacy Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding pharmacy services. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the Responsible Pharmacist, offering support to the Senior Pharmacist and collaborating with the pharmacy team to enhance service delivery. Your efforts will be vital in ensuring a superior experience for patients and customers alike.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Clinical Duties: Oversee clinical pharmacy services and ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Patient Accountability: Take responsibility for patient care and medication management.
  • Policy Development: Contribute to the formulation and enhancement of pharmacy policies and services.
  • Resource Management: Manage financial and physical resources effectively.
  • Leadership: Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Information Management: Ensure the proper handling of information resources.
  • Research and Development: Engage in research initiatives to advance pharmacy practices.
  • Education: Provide educational support and training to pharmacy staff.
  • Professional Development: Maintain professional standards and engage in continuous learning.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other duties as assigned.
