Key Responsibilities- Act as Responsible Pharmacist for outpatient services, ensuring the safe and effective provision of medicines to patients.
- Provide support to the Senior Pharmacist and the rest of the pharmacy team, contributing to the development of the business.
- Ensure a high-quality patient and customer experience is maintained, promoting respectful and compassionate care across all sites.
- Lead and manage the pharmacy team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.
- Contribute to the development of the business, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance services.
- Masters degree or equivalent in pharmacy.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice.
- Experience of patient counselling and completed audit to improve practice.
- Desirable: experience of working in a hospital environment, ward pharmacy experience, and understanding of medicines reconciliation.
